Maybe some of you are just like me.
Disliking the usual look of PSN titles' appearance in the PSP's XMB.
I just finished modifying the appearance of Parasite Eve, and frankly, it was fun.
This version just looks slightly different than the one I uploaded earlier, so basically its a thing for the fans of you.
The modified eboot comes with different ICON0, PIC0 and PIC1 files, and even a backing track has been added!
If you don't need that extra eyecandy, grab the normal version.
Otherwise pick it up and enjoy some extra effort I put into making your experience a bit sweeter.

Quick question... How were you able to do this? How were you able to get passed the security of the eboot? Did you use one of the NPD decrypters to change the eboots files and then repack it?
Well, making a PSN PSX game playable on other's PSPs is fairly simple.
Simple enough to break my head because none of the usual ways of decryption worked.
If you buy a game from the PSN, the license file gets created.
You'll find the Eboot.pbp and the documentation file in the game's folder.
Once you start the game for the first time, it will use the license to create a 'KEYS.BIN' file.
Once that file is created, you can share the game, means the eboot, documentation and keys.bin and CFW/Hen users will be able to play it - without the license stuff.
So basically it requires the original owner to run the game once and then upload the 3 files and it will work out.
I edited the Eboot using a piece of software called 'PSPBrew'.
I considered doing it manually, but seeing how there are nice and easy tools that give you a proper guy to change stuff...
Just make sure the files you're trying to use are well compressed :)
A question what's that game called the third one in the picture?
The third game in the list is Vagrant Story. (excellent game)
Yup, it's Vagrant Story.
If you're interested in that, I could upload it any day =)
yes. would be nice if you uploaded that one too. do you know where i can find the US version of FF IX?
Well, sure, it won't happen today anymore, though (my line's buy seeding T3B).
FFIX US? You really need the US version? I've got the EU one, which is english as well, but if you already got a savegame I'll search for the US one tomorrow
thanks.
Is there really no (working) torrent for the version you made for me? T^T If so, I think I have no choice but to get what's in here, regardless of that artwork..
well, I'd need to put it on some public tracker, but... well D:
it would be better if the DDL worked for once ._.
...Okay then, never mind. D:
First off thx for the roms and the psp guild as I was sick of being able to play iso`s and not eboots. Then again thx for the FF collections bring back very happy memorys. But I am having issues with Parasite eve [aya] and final fantasy 5 (all other games fine). They are in the menu but when I play them black screen comes up then resets to menu. I have download all versons of ff5 that you posted and it does it for everyone and now its doing it for parasite eve [aya] - just downloading the other verson and re downloading [aya] - Any idea if there are problems with these two ???
Many thx
Tweetytunes
It certainly shouldn't happen with Aya, but FFV seems like a popsloader issue.
Which cfw are you running?
Parasite eve [aya] working fine - it was the torrent file just not working but still problem with final fantasy 5 - but will resown again and get back to ya about that as well - again many thx - your [aya] verson is a nice touch
ah, thats good to hear!
Are you using a popsloader?
Did you try FFVI or other PSX2PSP versions already?
Seems like thats the issue to me
I put 24491_popsloader500 on my psp (my psp is a 2003 6.35pro-b) Enter the text "ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx 1" in to the text file. The poploader folder has two files in it "daxheaparea.prx and idcanager.prx.
Its on in the plugin menu but pressing the triggers while loading game does not work.
All iso`s work so far and I have got the following work with eboot.
(your) Final fantasy 4,6,7,8,9
(your) Parasite eve [aya]
Crash Bandicot
Breath of fire 3
(your) Vagrant Story
Silent Hill
The only two not working
(your) Final Fantasy 5
Dino Crisis 2
Both load up in the menu but FF5 loads to black screen then crashes back to menu, dino crisis 2 just sits on black screen but pressing home brings up the psx menu like normal but nothing else
If it is the poploader which one would you recommend for 6.35pro b as doing a net search is bring me nothing
Many Thx - oh great job on the Parasite eve OSt collection
Update to Pro-B3 and disable your popsloader plugin; 6.35 got an inbuilt one that should play most games without issues (including FFV)
Sorry it was pro b3 - but got pro b4 now and removed the popsloader but it still crashes out to the menu but now I`m getting a 80020148 error. Lots of fixes on the net but they all say hard reboot and hold "R" for menu but that does not happen with pro b3/4. Any idea`s
Cheers again for trying
80020148 = Unsupported PRX type.
Did you properly disable the Popsloader?
Seems like some plugin is giving you a headache, so disable all of them, then try again
I deleted the seplugins folder and recopied the one from your tut, went in and turned off all plugins and same error. Going to wipe the memory card and start a fresh. Also having less and less joy with eboots with Parasite eve 2, Dino crises 1 + 2 and croc all not working - can the pro3/4 play non psn eboots ???
Yes, the PRO-B series can play most homemade PSX games without issues.
Cleaning the Memory Stick after backing your files up sounds like a good idea, start anew, uninstall PRO-B3/4 and reinstall it on a fresh PSP.
Well, you're the first who's getting that much trouble, so you can rest assured that it actually works if done correctly
