Return from the Piles of Dead

So, you see, I'm back.

Aside from some little issues my PC is working again. Better than ever, I dare to say.
So, that's the main reason for my absence the last weeks.

But that's not all.
I just couldn't stand all that writing and mailing and uploading anymore.
There were enough other things to do, time wouldn't slow down, no matter what I try.
So I decided to do some other things instead.

Ah, Fuck Christmas! That wasn't it ;D

I just needed some time for myself..
Painted some Space Hulk-Terminators and Genestealers, played PSP Games, listening to Audiobooks and ... thinking everything through.

I'd like to show you at least some pictures of my Miniatures,
The Carnifex (nearly finished), the Broodlord, the first 'stealers, my Termi's, Tyranid Warriors...
But unfortunately my Webcam still doesn't work for screens, god knows what's the problem.


To be honest with you..
It's getting lonely again.
Everything was more or less fine, but now I'm missing something really important and don't know where to acquiere it.

You know, I normally don't give a fuck on New Years Eve, it's just some stupid reason to get drunk.. It doesn't change anything. Everything stays the same.
Man, I'm pissed. Some people from my old old school invited me to some random party in some random bar to celebrate.
You know what? I don't care.
I may be lonely, yes. Maybe I could need some 'fun' again.

But I don't want to celebrate an event I don't care about with people who will probably get drunk who I don't care about in an atmosphere I don't even like, including music I don't like.
You know, I don't drink alcohol. So, hey, let's go to a bar :'D
I just don't want to be part of it. That's it.

...why do they keep trying to persuade me to come with them...? ôo

Ah, that should be everything for now...

Good Girl + Bad Guy = Sorrow!

So, today's post is basically directed to the Girls around.
There's something I just don't understand, no matter how long or how intensive I ever thought about it:

Why do all the nice, good girls almost ALWAYS choose the bad boys?

Why the hell are you that obsessed with guys who don't respect you like you deserve?
Guys who permanently hold you down, break your heart TIME AND TIME AGAIN?
Why are you so stupid to return to them time and time again?
You must be really masochistic! You like the pain, you like the sorrow, you love the guy who won't be by your side when you need him.

A friend of mine happened to find such a guy. He disrespects her and her needs.
He'd rather play some idiotic cardgame than help her out or go to the cinema. No, in fact, he simply does his shit without letting her know.
I hear unbelievable often that he hurts her.
But hey, if she critizises him he always tells her that she'd be selfish and wouldn't understand him.

Everytime she needs him, she needs to talk about important things, he would run away, block her off, reproaches her for being an encumbrance to him and so on.

He dumped her some days ago for she slept at a friend's (no, not me).
Yes. AT a friend's. NOT WITH a friend.
She needed to talk to somebody. He knew that somebody. And he obviously didn't want to be that somebody himself.
She did nothing wrong.

But instead of talking, he insulted her. Badly.
He's a total faggot, I can tell you. I talked to him. He won't regret things, he won't be sorry, he won't even recognize his mistakes. Fag.

Wait! Now he wants her to come back to him. For the second time. He won't even let her some air to breathe to make her decision. It's not right.
I can tell you, he won't change a bit. The situation will stay the same. He will hurt her again and again.

And in time, none of the two will respect her anymore.

So, shown this as my example, I ask you:

Why do you cling onto people who are definetly not good for you?

I can recall some girls that fell in love with me though I treated them badly.
They wouldn't let me go even now. One of them still is in love with me, which sometimes is a real pain in the ass, but that should be another story.

If you are good to them, help them out, listen to them, you will simply be 'some guy that helps her out'.
They won't remember you in 5 years in most of cases.
But if you treat them bad, they will cry for you, won't let you go and will always remember you for breaking their hearts.

I think there is something wrong. It should be the other way round.

Ah, maybe it's like Hitler and Schindler.
Count all the people who remember Hitler and then count the ones who now who Oskar Schindler was.
[Schindler saved almost 1200 Jews during the Holocaust, there's even a movie made about him - 'Schindler's List' - watch it!]

...and you really ask why Men are assholes?
Because that way pays off better than being just a good friend.
And that really pisses me off!

Tyranids Step 1: Painting my Carnifex

So, 2,5h ago I decided to use my last drops of Chaos Black-Color to prime my Carnifex-parts.
I stopped after the whole body, all three back-plates, one Crushing-Claws and the Tusked-Head.
Oh, and one Tyranid-Warrior-body, tail and legs (these parts are already assembled) got primed ^^

So, I tried to continue the Space Hulk-Genestealer-Theme.
Soft Purple flesh and Deep Blue carapaces.
Actually, that scheme is comparable with the one I liked most while trying on the Termagaunts from Macragge.
The Purple was nearly the same with another highlighting-layer, and the carapace was a bit lighter, with way too strong highlights, and - I don't know why - the claws and 'hooves' of that Gaunt are white ôo

So, why not use this.
I liked it before and I like the 'normal' Space Hulk-theme.

I thought it, and I did it. Okay, I started.
The 'fex's Body is already base-coated with Liche Purple and the Carapace has a base of Regal Blue (I guess, it was a pot from one starterkit), what pleases me, I think..

So, he is drying now, I will go to bed and 'll continue tomorrow...
I just pray that the colors will last until the Tyranid-order from Waylandgames arrives...


by the way, one thing concerns me:
I will need to repaint my Hive-Tyrant, and I just don't want to, to be honest @_@ I like his Hivefleet-Leviathan-Style ôo

Ah, and my Broodlord will be finished soon..
I just need to add some details and accent the Claws, afterwards I'll add more shadows to the base, the metal looks to shiny and the skulls could need another coat of ink =)

Incoming: Tyranids!

So, I guess I'll finally give my Tyranid-army a new try.
The 'Nids were the first race in Warhammer 40.000 that made me shiver, that made me want to field them.
But I never managed to create an army.
I bought something here and there, along with many other things.

The 'Macragge'-starterbox of the 4th Edition supplied me with the following:

• 10 Termagaunts
• 6 Genestealers
• 8 Sporenmines
• 3 Disease-marker
• 1 Breed-Tunnel

..not everything is still intact, e.g. I used one 'stealer to provide my Cypher with a special base-design =p

I also bought a

• Hive-Tyrant and a
  
• Carnifex, as well as
  
• 3 Warriors.

The Tyrant is painted in Hivefleet-Leviathan Style, the 'fex and the warriors aren't even assembled by now.
The biggest problem was - from the very beginning - the choice of colors.
It's not like some human or ork, there is absolutely NOTHING that tells you how to paint it.
It completely is up to you.
And such things are my biggest problem. I can't decide these things.
So most Termagaunts ended up as color-studies.

Space Hulk provided me with an anti-scheme to the Blood Angels-Terminators - Dark Blue and Purple.
Aside of that, I now own 22 more Genestealers and one Broodlord.
I don't really want to set them on bases by now, but I guess the new rules will show.

so, I want to give the Hive a new chance.
In january, some new Units and Plastic-kits will be released, e.g. the long-awaited Trygon or new Gargoyles.
I want to buy one box at waylandgames, but I don't know which one, yet...

I guess I will come up with a list from the old 4th Edition-Codex, for the new one hasn't been released, so... just wait a moment XD

Umineko Visual Novel: First Impressions

So, only 3 episodes left till the first Umineko anime is finished.
Way too early, but that means, I have the opportunity to start the Visual Novel =D

...to be honest, I'm 'playing' (reading) for some hours now, and.. I'm not even finished with the content of the 1st anime-episode!
It starts around the first Kinzo-scene, expands it (although the anime actually shrinks the story) and tells most of the journey of the Ushiromiya-family to Rokkenjima.
It really is lovely, you learn so much more about the family, more about Battler's past and his relationship with his Dad, Rudolf, and Kyrie.
You learn more about George, Kanon has a longer appearance and Shannon is quite lovely.

Also, the scene where Maria finds the 'sick Rose' is a bit varianted;
George and Battler tell Maria, that the rose simply bloomed earlier and fullier than the others, so it is naturally withering earlier.
They tell it a more gentle way, other than 'it was probably destroyed by bugs' like in the anime.

Maria sucks a bit, I have to admit. She doesn't really seem like 9 years in my opinion, a bit retarded by now.. but I guess it will change in time =D

I must admit that I was .. scared of the picture-style. It doesn't look very pretty.
But you get used to it quicklier than you would think it's possible!
The atmosphere is able to catch you to it's fulliest, you read and read and read and don't want to stop.

There are even scenes where I stopped reading just to listen to some the most awesomest tracks of all soundtracks I ever heard!
I enjoyed 'hope' (the track at the top of this post;Rose-garden scene) and I love the 'worldend dominator'-track even more!

You remember the scene in the rose-garden? It is much longer in the VN. Naturally.
The siblings talk much about it, remember their childhood, mock each other and you feel the peace, you enjoy the images that come in mind.
It almost seems real in your imagination!

So, for that reason, I will post it in the next days,
I will provide you with the 'game', the english patch by Witch Hunt, the Soundtracks (though the BGM is included in the game, there are some special collections out there, like the musicboxes "Blue" and "Red", Singles etc.) and other stuff.

I want you to enjoy Umineko to it's fullest!

gg drops Blacksmith after 9 of 12 episodes

yep, that's correct.
They drop The Sacred Blacksmith for the sake of an old anime which they dropped, now they do the last 9 episodes and drop Blacksmith 3 episodes before that show is over.

Total fail.

'The project basically depends on the translators mood, and he really doesn’t like the show. Ep 10 will also be delayed.' (Link)
Now 'delayed' became 'dropped'

The translator for Sacred Blacksmith watched Seto, found it to be the superior anime, and agreed to the translate the remaining episodes, but dropped Blacksmith in the process of doing so.

However, an interested translator commented on the last recruitment drive post, and said they’d be interested in starting on Blacksmith, but not until after finals on the 18th. If all goes well with this new translator, then Sacred Blacksmith subbing will resume in a few weeks.

punch me, but I hope for them that this faggot-translator won't change his mind on Seto and doesn't want to do it after some episodes.

Maybe they'll continue Blacksmith, it's not granted, everything depends on some lonely replacement-translator.

It really IS FRUSTRATING, all the other groups aren't even finished with episode 8 - 10 was aired last week, gg has finished 9.

...let's wait some weeks to continue..

Ja, das beantworte ich am Besten mit einem Auszug der Webseite über das "Wir"
Es beschreibt im Grunde die 'Vorgeschichte', wie die beiden - Hartmut und 'Ich' dazu kamen, zusammen in eine WG zu ziehen.

Wir, das sind Hartmut und ich.
Wir lernten uns einst in der Schule kennen.

Das erste Mal sah ich Hartmut im Religionskurs in der Oberstufe.
Er schrieb ständig etwas auf Zettel. Keine Zettel, die er weitergab, um seinem Sitznachbarn still mitzuteilen, wer doof ist. Richtige Ideen, die er irgendwie aus dem Unterricht zog und für sich selbst verwendete, nicht für Herrn Heukamp, der sich vorne abmühte. Er hatte einen Stammsessel in der Stadtbücherei, las sich durch die gesamte Philosophie und erklärte Schülern und Bürgern die Welt. Aber das habe ich, glaube ich, schon mal erzählt. Seine Koteletten waren wirr und bauschig wie winzige Büsche und sein Haar stand grundsätzlich später auf als er selbst. Hartmut war interessant.

Ich weiß nicht mehr, ob unsere Freundeskreise verschmolzen oder einer dafür sorgte, dass der andere endlich mal einen hatte. Jedenfalls zogen wir bald miteinander immer größere Kreise. Zur Abi-Fete am Stadtrand. Zur Land-Disko im Nachbardorf. Zum Rockfestival nach Scheessel. Zum Strand nach Frankreich. Wir kochten Nudeln in Hartmuts VW-Bus, der wie eine Tigerente angemalt war und bis heute hält. Nachts sprühten wir Motive und Sinnsprüche an alte Bunker am Strand von Lacanau-Ocean oder übernachteten auf einem Wirtschaftsweg zwischen Olivenhainen in der Provence. Abends konnte Hartmut ganze Zeltstädte dazu zwingen, sich auf komische Jazzplatten einzulassen, während er am nächsten Morgen zu Biohazard mit gespielter Wut und aufgeplusterten Backen 20 Minuten lang Regenschirme und Plastiktische zertrümmerte. In der Freizeit half er im Jugendhaus aus oder tapezierte unsere Heimatstadt mit Plakaten für Demonstrationen, während wir in der Bude hinter dem Krankenhaus Gyros Pita aßen. Und egal, wie besoffen er war - er kroch zur blauen Stunde aus dem Zelt oder Bus und spazierte in der Ferne durchs Unterholz. Wenn wir leise das Holz knacken hörten, wussten wir, dass er über Dinge nachdachte, die wir nicht ganz verstanden.

Nach dem Abi ging er ins Krankenhaus und ich zum Bund. Das Leben nahm wie immer seinen Lauf, nur dass man uns fünf Tage der Woche heraus geschnitten hatte, deren potentielle Erlebnisse wir jetzt ins Wochenende stopfen mussten. Den Entschluss zusammen zu ziehen, fassten wir nachts am See, als wir im Freien schliefen und eines dieser "in den Himmel guck Gespräche" auf Luftmatratzen hatten. Hartmut beschloss, an der Uni zu studieren, was er auf dem alten Sessel in der Stadtbücherei immer schon studiert hatte und ich beschloss, viel zu baden und wenig zu arbeiten. Wenig, aber richtig. So kam Hartmut an die Ruhr-Uni und ich zu UPS.

Nachdem ich mit dem 2. Band angefangen hatte ("Voll Beschäftigt") ist nun endlich auch eine Hörbuchfassung des ersten erschienen. ich höre es seit 10 minuten und bin schon begeistert ^^

Plot:
Junpei Kōsaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizō-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusasu. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into a cat himself, and die of his own allergies.
