Reconstructed so the Schedule is first now!
I would like to announce that once Umineko 23 is uploaded (this night), it while be posted tonight.
Directly after that (delayed) 22-episode.

FMA Brotherhood will follow this weekend, I guess episodes 27 to 30 will be online until saturday night, next weekend 31 to 34 will follow, next monday I'll get episode 35, so I'm finally nearly up to date =D
Nyan Koi! 9 was released by gg some days ago (hell, thanksgiving's shadows are finally gone) and yesterday the 10th episode came out in J-TV, so I expect that episode this weekend, as well as Blacksmith, which will follow in-between.
As for Ciaphas Cain - don't worry! I just need some free-time to review the text on my pc and then I'll deliver it here.
The last thing I'm planning is Anime-Batch-Releases.
Single release-posts containing all episodes of the animes on my HDD.
I'm uploading to Rapidshare whenever I can (at least that Uploader seems to work properly =P)
One Anime you can look forward to is Bakemonogatari. Take that for granted.
Other series will be chosen these days.
Guess there will be more Terry Pratchett coming ;) be prepared!
Who want's explanations for the lack of Streams?
Click 'Read more'~
So, I guess some of you have already noticed the lack of Megavideo-Streams recently.
I'm going to give you an explanation to this, just so you know.
The biggest problem is still the time it takes to release an episode that way.
You know, all the 'big' animes are released in mkv lately, that means they are softsubbed.
Softsubs are a hell great thing, but the problem is that no(?) video-hoster will show them online.
Megavideo converts your uploaded video, so do youtube and other.
While converting, every softsub will be lost. The video is a RAW, only video and audio.
This way you probably wouldn't be able to understand much.
What do I (and others) do about it?
We convert them on our own. making a softsub to a hardsub.
Of course, this conversion process takes time, depending on the filesize, resolution and settings. it also shrinks the quality A LOT!
There are 4 episodes of Nyan Koi! in my queue at the moment and the converter says it will still need at least 1:30 hours to convert them, which is probably underestimated.
I'm a freak, so I want them with good quality, so the filesize is bigger than the original mkv, though the quality is worse.
The time I'm converting, I can't do much things on my computer except chatting, mailing, posting and some surfing around.
Playing a 'big' game would most likely corrupt the outcoming videos or slow the whole machine down to zero.
So I'm doing this stuff at night.
AFTER ALL THE CONVERSION
there is still need to actually upload the files.
to upload a video to megavideo takes around 45 minutes, depending on my online activity.
Wouldn't be that much of a problem if I could do it at night, too.
But I can't, due to some problems I have with the Megamanager (which really is shit, it could be much easier and comforting!) and you know, that program crashes every time I start it without saying a word.
Probably the biggest problem my PC has, some programs just won't work whatever I may try.
so, I need to upload them one by one and sit next to the pc to take care of errors.
I tried to upload the Umineko episode 22 three times by now, and you know what it says now, that I finally managed it after 3 hours?
'Temporary Conversion Error (retrying).'
I tell you, it will say 'couldn't convert' later on and I will be pissed.
There really is nothing odd about the videos, they are wonderful, but... megavideo sucks sometimes..
